Japanese author Mariko Bando guides women to “dignity.” I disagree with almost everything she says, but on the other hand, the opposite of her idealized Japanese woman is basically… a raunchy, snide American woman. And I can’t honestly say that that’s what I want to be, either.

So far I haven’t really been able to enjoy the new WoW 2.4 patch. Battlegrounds are laggy and buggy as hell, and since all I ever do on my rogue is PVP, it’s not fun dealing with this stuff.

But sometimes, the glitches churn out something fleeting and wonderful:

Oh, if only it were true. At that point I had only been in WSG a couple of times, and although we won, and although it IS WSG weekend, I would have to be MAD HIGH to believe that I got 51k honor from it.

It’s been a while since I wrote an aside. Anyway, this is super incredibly old news to everyone else, but I only discovered today that Square Haven is dead. I really am quite upset about this, which is stupid since it’s been closed for months now and I didn’t even notice. Way to be observant, fool.

The first Eva movie has finally been pirated. DVD-quality rip complete with sub track. I downloaded it myself and watched parts of it, so rest assured, it’s the real thing. Excuse me as I wet myself with glee.

This is kind of old news but I didn’t find it until today: the FFRPG core rulebook has finally been completed. Now I just have to get a crew together… or try and drag my old friends together to play. Hm. I wonder which will be more difficult.

Eight teenagers charged in Internet beating have their day on the Web. I really don’t know what to say about this, even though as soon as I read the heading I knew there was some… relevance to my own life. I saw the video on the news, and it’s as disturbing as you’d expect it to be.
